My Family of 7
Hi, I'm Sharina. I am a mother of 5 children and happily married to my charming husband. My family is my pillar of strength and always supports me in whatever I do or intend to do. Being a working mum and wife is not easy for me. I have to juggle my time around, and at times, I get exhausted and just cooped up in my room just to destress after a hard day at work.
I do feel guilty all the time, plus I am currently pursuing my degree in Bachelor of Business to upgrade myself and hope to give my family a more comfortable life. I will graduate in September 2023 and hope that with my degree, I can have a better career prospect and be a motivation to my kids. I always told them that they could do it too if I could do it.
At times, I always tell myself, when am I going to quit my job and stay at home to be with my kids? When will I be able to give my time and commitment to them? But as you know, with 5 growing kids, it's impossible to just quit my job and be a stay home mum.
I always thought of setting up own business and spend more time with my kids. But what kind of business can I set up? My mind is always very creative. I have thought of selling my own candles and soaps online, but the cost of setting up the business is always a hurdle. After doing all my financial calculations, budget, and costing, I thought it was not cheap to set up a business. The resources and the amount of time do not allow me to do so, as I am still working full-time and studying simultaneously. My assignments, classes, exams, and work commitment is too packed.
Last year, I came across this Virtual Assistant in google and saw what I needed to do to be a Virtual Assistant. It amazed me and created that excitement once more when I read the article about virtual assistant services. But, like I said, when I thought about my studies and commitment at work, I decided to put off that thought.
Recently, I came across a profile on Facebook about Virtual Assistants, and I decided to listen to the free webinar conducted by this trainer, Tanya. After listening to her explanation and I get more information on what a virtual assistant does, I decided to sign up for her 5-week course. I felt that I need to change my life around. I cannot let all the challenges stop me from achieving what I want in my life.
I realize that this is what I want. This is my future, which will lead me to my freedom of staying home and working remotely to earn income. I am good at what I am doing at work, and with my years of experience, I can help business owners manage their administrative tasks so they can concentrate on other aspects of their business. Admin & HR is my forte, my cup of tea. I love what I do, and with this passion, I know I can be the best Virtual Assistant for any clients who engage my services.
I just came up with some words with the alphabets in my name that I feel will describe my strengths.
S- Supportive
H- Hardworking
A- Attentive
R- Resourceful ability to find ways to overcome difficulties
I- Integrity
N- Nifty - capable, skillful, effective
A- Adept - proficient
Let me explain a bit on what does each word on the letters mean. As an Admin personnel, I tend to be very supportive and willing to go the extra mile to help out my colleagues in need even if the tasks they do is not in my area of expertise. I believe team work in every department is important. I can say I am hardworking. I give my best to deliver what is expected of me. I am very attentive and resourceful. I have the ability to find ways to overcome any difficulties in my work. For me, every problem has its solution. It is how we look at the problem from a different angle.
I take pride in my work and Integrity is very important to me. I am also nifty in my work. I am very skillful in the Administrative work I do. Maybe due to the long experience I have. I am confident that I am proficient in my typing and IT skills.
I guess this is as much I can write about me for now!
See you in the next post 😁
Cheer everyone!
Love,
SrinaJ
My quote of the day:
"What is success? I think it is a mixture of having a flair of the thing that you are doing; knowing that it is not enough, that you have got to have hard work and a certain sense of purpose"
